SUSTAINABILITY

At Knowl End Farm, every egg reflects our deep commitment to people and planet. We work closely in the UK with trusted local producers, ensuring freshness while keeping transport miles low across the North West. This not only guarantees quality but also strengthens regional farming networks and supports the communities we serve.  Our EU partner has a strongly felt value in social responsibility.  Animal welfare, environmental sustainability, social commitment, innovation and health, quality and food safety are the founding pillars of the way they do business.

Our approach goes beyond eggs, it’s about responsibility. Through transparent, respectful practices, we reduce waste, lower carbon emissions, and prioritise animal welfare. Each carton is more than packaging; it’s a promise of ethical sourcing, reliable service, and care for the environment. From producer to customer, we’re dedicated to delivering food that truly makes a difference.

CARBON OFFSET

Knowl End Farm is proud to have offset 27,570 kg of CO₂ in our 2024 packaging procurement, earning the Carbon Offset Certificate of Achievement from Prostar Packaging Ltd, validated by Carbon Neutral Britain.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

We take local plastic bottles, sorted in Warrington, and transform them into clear, durable egg boxes in Manchester. By cutting out overseas imports and repurposing waste, we reduce emissions by 25 % and help preserve our forests. Our waterproof, transparent design not only protects your eggs and showcases their freshness but also supports local industry, providing a straightforward, eco‑friendly solution that lightens our collective environmental footprint.
